    2017 HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION FILING DEADLINE IS JUNE 30TH, 2017.Information regarding the Nebraska Homestead Exemption can be obtained at:

    Forms for the homestead exemption can be obtained from the Nebraska Department of Revenue, Property Tax Division website at:

    2017 Personal Property Returns are due May 1st, 2017.All owners of depreciable, tangible personal property as of Janauary 1st at 12:01 AM each year are required by Nebraska Statute to list their personal property with the county where the property is located. Blank forms can be obtained at: http://www.revenue.nebraska.gov/PAD/forms/Nebr_Personal_Prop_Return_nocalc.pdf.

    If you filed a return with Saunders County for the prior year, you can obtain a copy of your return at: www.saundersrealproperty@nebraska.gov.

    2017 Personal Property returns are due in the office of the County Assessor where the property is located OR postmarked by May 1st, 2017. NEW FOR 2017, all personal property returns filed by the May 1st, 2017 deadline will receive up to $10,000 valuation exemption on their return.
